What do Karen Kain, James Kudelka, Guillaume Côté, Jason Reilly, Matjash Mrozewski, John Lam and Aszure Barton have in common?
They, like many other successful people in the dance world, are alumni of Canada’s National Ballet School.
This year, the school is celebrating its 50th anniversary on a grand scale, with many amazing events that will go down in history. The center of the anniversary took place in November when the ballet school hosted 12 international schools in the “Assemblee Internationale”. This week long festival included performances by ballet students from around the world performing in repertory from both their home school, and new works created by student choreographers.
